Tamparuli town – Located 45 minutes ride from Kota Kinabalu city. The town is famous for its hanging bridge where local called it “Jambatan Tamparuli”. At here you can tasted as well Tamparuli noodle (local-made fry noodle).
Nabalu handicraft center – The center is a small market for local communities to sell their agriculture products. Do not miss to try out local fresh fruits.
Kinabalu Park – Malaysia’s first World Heritage site and one of the highest mountains in South East Asia standing at 4095.2 meters. The Park home to more than 5,000 vascular plant species and some 90 lowland mammal species.
Poring Hot Spring – Famous for spring’s hot sulphuric minerals that deemed to have healing properties. You may de-stress and soak away the sores and aches of your muscles at the hot spring here. Besides, there are also other interesting areas in the park to be visited such as the butterfly farm, the tropical garden, the Poring canopy walkway and the Rafflesia flower site.
Desa Cattle Dairy Farm – Located at the foothill of Mount Kinabalu, the farm is 199 hectares and most of the milking cows are Friesians. (The highest milk producers of all cattle breeds) Often chosen as a wedding photography destination, with the majestic Mount Kinabalu overlooking beautiful green pastures, the scenery is breathtaking together with cool breeze. It is an ideal destination for the whole family, where there are activities such as feeding the calves with bottled milk, feeding goats with grass, how milk is processed as well as the milking process are available for all. Here you can get some souvenirs especially the popular dairy products like Desa Cattle’s milk in a box as well as their ice cream.
Kundasang War Memorial – Established in 1962, one of the first memorials to commemorate the brave Australian and British Prisoners of War who died in Sandakan and during the infamous death marches to Ranau during World War II.
